This includes a new semiconductor fab in Gwangju and an AI data center in Haenam. SK Group, on its part, outlined a 2,100 trillion won (approximately $1.4 trillion) medium- to long-term investment roadmap. This includes 1,100 trillion won for expanding semiconductor production capacity, primarily led by SK Hynix, and 1,000 trillion won for developing AI data centers nationwide, with SK Telecom spearheading the buildout of 15 gigawatts of AI data center capacity.
